A crazy fan of actress Preity Zinta tried to attack actor Akshay Kumar recently on the sets of a movie.

As learnt from Mid-Day, the incident happened last week on the sets of Sajid Nadiadwala’s movie Jaaneman which Akshay and Preity are shooting in Mumbai’s Film City.

After shooting for the movie for about 4 hours, when Akshay and Preity took a break, there were fans waiting to see the stars and take autographs. One particular man with a strong built had come since morning.

Seeing the throng of fans, Akki reportedly caught Preity’s hand and told her to go and sit in her vanity van. He himself went and sat in his Pajero.

While Akki was sitting in his car and watching the promos of the movie on his laptop, the same well-built man appeared and started using foul language towards Akki. He was screaming at Akki: “Teri himmat kaise hui Preity ko haath lagane ki� (how dare you touch Preity).

Akshay ignored the man. This angered him more and he picked up a stone and was about to hit the front window of Akshay’s car when the actor’s driver Ravi, friend Nitin and hairstylist Milan overpowered him.

The man was reportedly shown out of the complex.

It was later found that the man was mentally unstable and a die-hard fan of Preity Zinta.
