The music video of actor Abhishek Bachchan ’s first self-sung number will go on air on December 1.

It all started with a joke. Abhishek jokingly proposed to sing a song for Rohan Sippy’s Bluffmaster that stars Abhishek, Ritesh Deshmukh and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.

Rohan took Abhi’s joke and converted it into a reality by making the emerging star actually wield the microphone for a funky number titled ‘Right Here Right Now’.

The song has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and directed, choreographed by Farah Khan .

Abhishek is quoted as saying about his singing experience: “It was a terrifying experience. It all started with a joke with me proposing to sing the song. Rohan caught my bluff and insisted that I actually sing it. Vishal and Shekhar have done a fantastic job and made it a great track. So I cannot take any credit if it sounds good.�

When Farah Khan heard the song, she offered to direct it. The song was subsequently canned in just two days of shooting.

The number features Abhishek with four beauties – Carol Gracias, Pia Trivedi, Scherzade Shroff and Anchal Kumar. The video also has appearances by Ritesh, Priyanka, Rohan and Vishal-Shekhar.

The song will most likely appear in the end credits of ‘Bluffmaster’.

The movie has Abhishek playing a conman. It is slated to hit the theatres on December 16.
