Mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan was shifted out of the ICU of Lilavati Hospital on Wednesday, hospital sources said.

The actor underwent a major surgery on November 30 for an intestinal problem.

Bachchan, who underwent a series of tests at the Escorts Heart Institute in Delhi on November 28 after complaining of abdominal pain, was later flown to Mumbai and admitted to Lilavati Hospital the same night.

The 63-year-old megastar underwent a successful surgery for ‘diverticulitis’ of small intestine on November 30.

Bachchan was recuperating at ICU and doctors said his recovery was good.

Meanwhile, relatives, friends and well-wishers continued to visit the hospital, sources said.
