Mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan , who is recuperating in Lilavati hospital following an intestinal problem, is feeling better and a decision on his discharge may be taken today, hospital authorities said on Tuesday.

Bachchan’s condition had improved steadily during the last fortnight after undergoing surgery on November 30 and a team of doctors was likely to take a decision on his discharge tomorrow, a hospital spokesperson told a news agency.

Bachchan, who is recovering from diverticulitis of small intestine for which he was operated upon, has overcome the problem, the spokesperson said.

Even after Bachchan is discharged, dietary restrictions will continue for days ahead, hospital sources said.
