The dashing John Abraham has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra with fever, hospital sources said on Wednesday.
“Abraham, aged 32, was admitted to the hospital last night with fever and investigations will be carried out,” hospital spokesperson and Vice-president Dr Narendra Trivedi said.
John was suffering from viral fever and bronchitis from mid-November when he went for shoot to Kabul for his film Kabul Express , Bollywood sources said.
The sources added that since he was not well he came back from the shoot and was recuperating.
He was to go for a month-long shooting for the film in December and the shooting team, which is stationed in Kabul, had tight security provided after the killing of an Indian, Maniyappan Raman Kutty in Afghanistan last month.
`Kabul Express’ is a thriller, which tells the story of a 48-hour long car drive in Afghanistan. John plays the role of a TV director in the movie.
