With her two films The Film and Home Delivery all set for release, Mahima Chaudhary seems to be flying high these days. She says, “I am very happy and satisfied that both my films are on the verge of release. Now it is for you to tell me how much I have improved as an actress.�


The Film directed by Junaid Memon is about a group of people who come to Mumbai in search of work. Whereas Home Delivery is an out and out comedy. In The Film, I play the role of stubborn character called Sushmita Bann who is a scriptwriter and is very successful than others in a group of people living together under one roof. They are desperate to make a film but have no finances. They begin to extort money. Shamim Bhai is the reigning don of Mumbai and comes to know that there is a gang who is extorting money in his name. It is a very lively role and I enjoyed working with the newcomers,� she says.

In Home Delivery she acts opposite Vivek Oberoi. “Yes, it’s a comedy role which I have attempted for the first time. It was fun essaying the role. I hope with Home Delivery my image as an actress will change,� says Mahima.
