The Bollywood quotient at the International Film Festival of India in Goa has been heightened with actress Rekha , putting in an appearance. But the reticent diva is keeping away from the limelight.

The ‘Umrao Jaan’ star, who dropped in at an IFFI function three days back to pay homage to her father Tamil superstar Gemini Ganesan, did not speak on the occasion.

Even Directorate of Film Festivals (DFF) Director Afzal Amanullah, admits he is yet to meet her.

“I had an appointment with her but unfortunately we could not meet. But then, one has to respect people’s privacy,” Amanullah said on Friday.

Rekha is currently busy shooting for filmmaker Goutam Ghose’s Hindi film ‘Yatra.’
