Saif Ali Khan is a talented actor and he proved his mettle by bagging the National award for the best actor this time. The star is all set to strum new chords now. Saif Ali Khan is all set to play guitar live on stage in Delhi on December 18. He is going to perform in front of a large audience with his maiden guitar.

Well it’s interesting to observe that this is not the first public appearance of Chote Nawab flaunting his guitar. He has already done in it for a paint ad, and also played with the instrument in ‘Parineeta’. Not only this, he came up on stage to play guitar during the Temptations 2004 show in Atlanta. Saif tells that he has been associated with the instrument since the early days of his life. He love playing the instrument and has also got formally trained for the antics. He is also a fan of guitar maestro Joe Satriani.

Come December 18 and Saif will pose along with rock band Parikrama at Mittal Gardens in Delhi. Among the selected songs, he is likely to play Guns n Roses’ ‘Sweet Child of Mine’, Survivor’s ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and many more. Subir Malik of Parikrama tells that Saif has a knack for rock music and it will be a nice thing to jam with him for the concert.

Saif in his own words tells, “I don’t mean to sound pompous but I can confidently tell you that no one in this film industry can pretend to play the guitar on stage and be a rock star better than me. That’s because I know the nuances involved with that performance, like tuning while playing. This is something only someone who knows the instrument will do. That lends so much credibility.” Point noted!
