Bollywood News| Actors, Amitabh Bachchan

The whole nation heaved a sigh of relief when mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan walked out of the Lilavati Hospital on Saturday.

And fans were waiting with bated breath at Bachchan’s suburban Juhu residence ‘Jalsa’ to welcome their hero.

Sheikh Sharif Maula Saheb, a 22-year-old handicapped person from Latur, has been waiting in front of Bachchan’s residence for last four days.

He wanted to garland Bachchan as soon as he comes back to his posh bungalow after being discharged from the hospital where he underwent a surgery for intestinal problems.

But much to the disappointment of Sheikh and hundreds of other fans who have converged at ‘Jalsa’, Bachchan, after being discharged from the hospital after 19 days this morning, drove straight to ‘Prateeksha’ where his mother Teji Bachchan is staying.

Holding the garland firmly, Sheikh who hails from Latur said, “I have been camping here since last four days. I am thankful to God for showering blessings on Amitabhji. I am his great fan and shall not move from here till I garland him”.

Mohammed Junaid, a look-alike of ace batsman Sachin Tendulkar, was also waiting eagerly for Bachchan outside ‘Jalsa’. “I am a great fan of Bachchan,” he said.

The actor stays with his family at ‘Jalsa’ while his mother stays at ‘Prateeksha’.

Meanwhile, tight security prevailed at both bungalows as steady stream of visitors started pouring in to meet the mega superstar.
