A diamond merchant Prem Kumar Agarwal has filed a civil suit against producer Boney Kapoor and Sridevi for not giving him the telecast rights of No Entry.
According to Agarwal, the duo had borrowed Rs 15 crore from him with the promise of giving him the telecast rights of their movie No Entry. In spite of giving rights to the Agarwal they have now allegedly sold off the rights to Sahara. The film has been scheduled for a telecast on March 26 on the same channel.
This is not the first time that Boney Kapoor has been accused for such an issue. Earlier it was reported that Boney did not pay his actors of his TV serial Hamari Bahu Malini Iyer that was planned as a comeback vehicle for Sridevi. He had promised them to pay after the release of Bewafaa but the movie flopped badly. Then he postponed the payment till the release of No Entry. And though No Entry turned out to be a big hit, Boney still hasn’t cleared off the dues.
The actors have allegedly filed a complaint against Kapoor with the Cine and TV Artistes Association.
