The two superstars of Bollywood may act together for the first time in a film based on the epic Mahabharata.
Bobby Bedi, the producer of ‘Mangal Pandey The Rising ’ is now planning to make a three-series movie based on the great Hindu epic Mahabharata, the tale of feud between Pandavas and Kauravas.
As learnt, Bedi had spoken to both Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan more than a year back about acting in the film. The two stars had expressed interest, but nothing was finalized.
And now that Bobby Bedi is ready to make the Rs 3 billion project, speculation is already being made about the movie’s cast.
Rumours have it that the movie in all likelihood would become the first flick to have both SRK and Aamir together.
But Bobby Bedi is keeping tightlipped.
“I am in no position to tell you that whether one or both (Aamir, SRK) will feature in the project. It is still too early to talk about it, Bedi is quoted as saying.
Talks are also abuzz that Rani Mukherjee is being considered to play the role of Draupadi in the film.
Mani Ratnam , the talented South Indian filmmaker, would direct the movie.
A couple of months back, Aamir was asked in an interview about his ‘dream role’. Aamir had answered that he would very much love to play the role of Karan (the archer from Mahabharata).
Let’s see whether Aamir gets his dream role in Bobby Bedi’s Mahabharat.
