Aksar is Anant Mahadevan’s attempt to give a thriller to the audience. But the reality, which you will come to encounter after watching the movie, is that he fails to do so. The concept comes as too bold for the Indian audience.


Emraan once-again plays a Casanova who runs after girls. Emraan (Ricky ) plays a fashion photographer in the movie who is hired by Dino Morea (Rajveer Singh) to seduce his wife. The wife Udita Goswami (Sheena Roy) also falls in love with the Casanova. After it the movie takes different turns. Dino’s revelation to Emraan why he is doing all this and the husband watching his wife and another man in an uncompromising situation add the typical Hindi movie masala. In the second half, the movie develops a few suspense scenes. But still it lacks to hold the audience for long.

Emraan Hashmi needs to change his choice of picking up movies if he wants to survive and become a good actor. And Udita although not good with her acting makes the audience sit to watch her steamy scenes. Another survivor for the audience is the music score of Himesh Reshammiya. Otherwise the movie is not worth besides having a unique plot.
