Every actor wants more work, but Akshay Kumar’s New Year resolution is to cut down on his work load. The actor, who zoomed off for a secret getaway with his family for the New Year, has now decided to do only three to four films a year. Going by the moolah he is receiving, however, we think that’s quite enough. A little birdie tells us that he’s being paid a whopping Rs 5.5 crore by a top music company for their next film.


Although he isn’t talking money, the actor does say, “Yes, I am being extremely selective about my work and I have been refusing offers. Considering the track record I only want to settle for the best because people expect the best out of me.� With so many hits in his kitty in the last couple of years, we think this actor knows what he’s talking about!
