Actress Ayesha Takia will soon be an insomniac, if she continues to work the way she does. When we met her last, she was busy shooting for a 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. shift, and was then scheduled to reach another film set by 11 p.m.


Then when does she sleep, we wonder? “I catch up on my sleep in between shots,� she tells us, smiling. And she still manages to look pretty besides giving an energetic impression to one and all. “What does one do? We have to look fresh on screen. The audiences are never going to know what time of the night it was while a particular shot was being done or for how many hours a day we were working. They pay for a pretty picture, so we better give them that! But it’s not always that we work so hard. Right now it has just happened that the two films I’ve signed are on the floors simultaneously.� Now we know what makes them ‘time-less beauties.’
