Karan Johar’s fourth venture after “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai�, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham� and “Kal Ho Na Ho� is “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna� and as like all Johar films, has an outstanding storyline. The film has stars Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Urmila Matondkar, Preity Zinta, Abhishek Bachchan, and Saira Mohan in lead roles and Kiron Kher and Arjun Rampal in supporting role.


Amitabh Bachchan is playing a rich business tycoon Mohinder Sharma- owner of Sharma ltd and with his hard work becomes the numero uno in Delhi’s business circles. Shah Rukh Khan is Jai Verma, a neurotic accountant working for Sharma Limited. Rani Mukherjee is Mohinder Sharma’s daughter and displays a very feminist attitude.

The theme of the movie is the budding romance between Jai and Shalini, immaterial of the fact that both are married to different people. Although they are settled in their married life, they still yearn for something deeper, which is what they find in each other. Starting their relationship with pleasant barbs, they develop deep feelings for each other. When these feelings are brought out the result is a clash of lives and emotions affecting everyone involved and changing them forever…
