Kareena Kapoor aka Bebo is upset, as she cannot attend the promotional campaign of Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Omkara’ at the Cannes film festival. Bebo is very eventful with her Rockstar concert as she will be traveling to US, UK and Canada and hence cannot make it to Cannes as reported in a section of media.

Bebo seems very excited about the movie for which she has specially grown her hair. For the first time Ajay Devgan and Kareena are working together and it would be exciting to see how their chemistry would look on screen.


‘Omkara’ that is an adaptation of Shakespeare ‘Othello’ stars Ajay Devgan (Omkara), Saif Ali Khan (Langda Tyagi), Vivek Oberoi (Kesu), Kareena Kapoor (Dolly) and Konkona Sen (Indu). Also seen in the movie are Naseeruddin Shah, Bipasha Basu and Ayesha Takia. This is Vishal Bharadwaj’s third interpreation of a literary classic after ‘Maqbool’ (based on Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’) and ‘The Blue Umbrella’ which was based on (Ruskin Bond’s ‘The Blue Umbrella’).
