‘Lord of the Rings’ was an inspiration for the making of Krrish , the sequel of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi Mil Gaya .

Roshan and his son Hrithik were in Chennai on Monday to launch the music album of the Tamil version of ‘Krrish’, scored by Rajesh Roshan , which also stars Priyanka Chopra and Rekha .

Talking to reporters, Roshan said that the movie was being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu and had been shot in Singapore and Kulu Manali.

“All special effects in the Tamil movie are being made in Prasad studios in Chennai and all three versions will be released sometime in June,” he said.

“I have received a lot of requests to dub my movies in German, Spanish and several other languages. So why not in some local languages, where Hrithik’s movies make a good business,” Rakesh reasoned.

The music will be a sure hit for it is a blend of melodies and good lyrics, he said.

On queries about what the movie was all about, Hrithik refused to reveal the story line but said that in ‘Krrish’ he played the son of ‘Rohit’, the main character in the previous movie ‘Koi Mil Gaya’.

“The strength of ‘Krrish’ lies in its story, a simple love story, more than the special effects in it.”
