YUN HOTA TOH KYA HOTA is Naseeruddin Sha’s debutant venture as director. The veteran actor has had four stories converging in the end. The film has lot of comedy, thrills and love.

The director has also ensured that there is enough variety to attract all sections. The story has about 20 characters. There is Ayesha Takia to add glamour and Konkona to provide social dimension. The film is shot in Mumbai and New York

The story revolves around four people with four different backgrounds and characters.

Tilottima Punj (Kokona Sensharma) is the happiest person in the world because she’s married Hemant (Jimmy Sheirgill). She met and loved him through the Net. They have a wonderful chemistry.

Unfortunately their honeymoon is cut short because Hemant has to return to his job in the US. Now Tilottima desperately wants to go to her husband and hence she plays a lot of tricks with immigration officer and fights with her mother in law.

Salim Rajabali (Irrfan Khan) is the stockbroker son of a Godmother. He falls for sensuous Namrata (Suhasini Mulay), who is much older than him. He gets into trouble as he accidentally gets involved in a murder.

To make things worse, he discovers that Namrata has been cheating him. He gets shattered. Gradually he recovers from the shock and prepares to act. But his mother (Saroj Khan) forces him to go out of the country before he’s implicated further.

Rahul Bhide (Ankur Khanna) is a poor student, who is brilliant in studies. He has got admission into a prestigious university abroad. But he is not able to feel happy about it as he doesn’t have the funds to go and join the course.

But the lady luck smiles at him and somehow he gets the assistance he needs to go abroad.

Rajubhai Patel (Paresh Raval) is an organizer of foreign shows. Any dancer or singer, who wants to be the part of his troop, has to do only one thing: he or she has to give him a lump sum. Since there are quite a many aspirants, he gets a lot of entries.

Tara (Ratna Pathak Shah) wants her daughter to get into his show. She mortgages her house to pay Rajubhai.

The lives of these four persons with different backgrounds and motives get entwined.

The events involving the four are exciting. The fortunes change and so do the lives of the four.

YUN HOTA TOH KYA HOTA has all the ingredients of an exciting entertainer. The movie is expected to hit the halls by the second week of June.
