The fate of the Rockstars 2006 tour featuring Salman Khan, John Abraham, Zayed Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat and Esha Deol, was hanging in balance — ever since Salman was convicted in the chinkara case.

A day earlier, Salman had been denied visa and the organisers were considering cancelling the show. But Khan reapplied and got the visa the following day. The Rockstars is now scheduled to travel to Canada, USA, UK and Europe. In all probability, Salman is leaving for the US much ahead of any other member.

Mohammed Morani confirms “Salman is leaving mostly on April 26. We all will go on May 2.


It is better if he goes before. People there have become very uncertain about his arrival ever since the tour was thrown in jeopardy. If he goes early, he will create a lot of positive buzz which is now necessary.�

Mohammed says, “For every tour, there is one engine. This time it is Salman,� and added, “John Abraham also has an important role to play.�
