Newly-married stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, who tied the knot in Mumbai on Friday, arrived at the Tirupati temple on Sunday with the senior Bachchans in tow.

This was the couple’s first visit to any temple after the marriage. Amitabh Bachchan had visited the temple on April 15 to seek Lord Balaji’s blessings. He had also placed the first wedding invitation card at the feet of the deity seeking blessings for the couple

Like the marriage, the temple affair too, was a closely guarded event. For the first time ever, the media was barred from the temple as Bachchan and family prayed.

Following the temple visit on Sunday, Abhi-Ash reportedly left for Venice for their honeymoon. So all’s well that ends well?
