At the time when there are rumours about Bipasha Basu splitting with John Abraham, there is another news that Bipasha is doing the role of Panchali. Bollywood is now turning its attention to epics. Rajkumar Santoshi is now directing ‘Ramayana.’ Uru Patel is making ‘Hanuman’ at a budget of 30 crores. The third epic film being made is centred around Panchali in the Mahabaratha epic. It is being directed by Rituparno Ghosh, who made a Bengali film starring Aishwarya Rai. The heroine is Panchali, the wife of the 5 Pandavas.  Why did they choose Bipasha for the role? It’s supposed to be because she has the face and glamour suitable for it. Does that mean she will not suit the character of Sita?
