2007 has been a very eventful year for King Khan. With a blockbuster movie Chak De India and a book dedicated to him, he is riding high. Augmenting this was the rare honour of having his sculpture commissioned at Madame Tussauds wax museum.
The SRK magic is back with Om Shanti Om which will be releasing this diwali.
The movie which deals with reincarnation will have the stunning Deepika Padukone starring opposite King Khan.
Director Farah Khan said she would be ‘re-introducing’ SRK. If the promos of the movie and the song Dard-E-Disco are anything to go by, she has definitely kept her promise and more! “Well, full credit to Shah Rukh for attempting something like this which showcases him in an altogether different ‘avtaar’”, talks Farah fondly for her superstar friend, “The idea was to give him a much leaner look, while refraining from making it all look artificial.”
SRK himself is going all out to promote his latest film and has made several small and big-screen appearances. His newly acquired six-pack has hogged the limelight and made it to several web sites and magazines as a cover story. The latest to join the bandwagon is FilmFare who put SRK on their cover. Seen in the images is Shah Rukh Khan launching Filmfare’s latest initiative, Filmfare Mobile.
