Madhur Bhandarkar returned to Mumbai two days back after a week long trip to Cairo. He was in the city for 33rd Cairo International Film Festival where he was felicitated for his contribution to cinema. Also, five of his films, namely Chandni Bar, Page3, Corporate, Traffic Signal and Fashion, were showcased under the section “Tribute to Indian Cinema.” “It was a great trip since it reaffirmed that Indian films do get some very good recognition abroad if presented in the right film festivals.
