Abhay Deol, who is set to make his small screen debut as a host, says he is not late for TV, it’s just that it didn’t feature in his scheme of things.

Kalki Koechlin is not new to onscreen kissing scenes. She has had kissing scenes in films like Shaitan and Dev D but that is nothing like the passionate kiss she shares with Bengali superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee in Dibakar Banerjee’s Shanghai .

First look of Shanghai has created a stir. Even though it is not an official poster of the film, the very sight of Emraan Hashmi and Abhay Deol in attire that suits the mood of Shanghai has made many sit up and notice. However there is an insight worthy that deserves to be shared.

Now this is hardly a subtle announcement that an actor could ever boast of making. His Shanghai finally has a release plan in sight and it is now entering the battlefield which was otherwise left open for Talaash and Rowdy Rathore .

‘Yeh Kucch Zyaada Hi Deep Chali Gayi’ This is what you end up muttering to yourself moments after flipping through a few pages of ‘Beyond the Boundaries of Bollywood’. While the book pretty much claims at the very beginning that it isn’t about Bollywood alone but is instead aspiring to take the reader through ‘The Many Forms of Hindi Cinema’, the very approach adopted here coupled with the kind of content that one ends up going through turns out to be highly academic

Navdeep Singh’s Rock The Shaadi shoot recently faced some obstacles due to the rowdy and uncouth behavior of locals in Alwar. The film was to be shot in two different locations in Rajasthan, but the cast and crew were harassed by locals to such a great extent that they decided to cancel any further shooting there.
Kalki Koechlin has come a long way after making a sensational debut as Chanda in Anurag Kashyap’s modern interpretation of Devdas, two years back in Dev D.

India’s first zombie comedy film, Shaadi Of The Dead produced by Ekta Kapoor, starring Abhay Deol and Genelia D’Souza, has undergone a change of name and has been retitled as Rock The Shaadi. The reason behind this change was that producer Ekta Kapoor didn’t find the name creative enough and hence threw out the challenge to the cast and creative team of the film. It was after much deliberation that Abhay’s suggestion of Rock The Shaadi was locked as being the best of all the names.
