Shootout at Wadala is the prequel to 2007 Bollywood film Shootout at Lokhandwala based on the book Dongri to Dubai written by Hussain Zaidi’s. The film features an ensemble cast that includes John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood. The film will dramatise the first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police, where gangster Manya Surve (John Abraham) was shot dead.
