"Composing music isn’t new to me" – Shirish on his TMK title track
Though Vishal-Shekhar have composed the soundtrack of Tees Maar Khan, it is producer Shirish Kunder who has stuck his neck out, taken a risk and composed an important theme track of the (expected) masala entertainer. Though a few did raise an eyebrow at this decision, especially so since Anu Malik (Main Hoon Naa) and Vishal-Shekhar (Om Shanti Om) were the sole composers of Farah Khan’s earlier films, Shirish is unperturbed. “I don’t know why some out there are wondering the reason behind this decision.

EXPECTATIONS Since A Flat (Earlier titled Flat) has been ready for quite some time, you expect a dated feel in its music. Moreover Bappa Lahiri, after being heard in a few albums so far, is yet to make his make his mark as a composer. Add to that the fact that there isn’t any buzz around the film’s music so far and the expectations are kept at the very minimal.
