Mumbai, May 4 : John Abraham turned up for the 60th National Film Awards ceremony in the capital with his girlfriend Priya Runchal, dressed in a sober gold ensemble. She was more than excited when her beau went onto the stage, and she couldn’t stop taking his pictures on her phone.

Kartik Tiwari and debutant Mishti gave as many as 37 retakes to get a kissing scene right for Subhash Ghai’s “Kaanchi”. The film’s unit, currently in the picturesque locations of Ranikhet, did not brace themselves for so many retakes of the scene.
